For the travel industry, Canada’s announcement that we will soon be welcoming international Guests once more was the light at the end of a long COVID tunnel we’ve been looking forward to for so long.
The message to our overseas Guests is that our borders will soon re-open and we excitedly anticipate being able to welcome vaccinated travellers, as they are again able experience Canada at their own pace.
While non-US travellers won’t be able to arrive before 7 September, the Canada/US border will reopen for discretionary travel on 9 August and US citizens and residents will be free to visit Canada provided they meet the necessary criteria.
