Haliburton Forest Campground
Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve is a privately owned forest in Ontario’s Haliburton County. If you’re looking to narrow down your list of some of the best camping in Ontario, Haliburton should be right up there. The 100,000-acre forest offers numerous semi-wilderness campsites on nearly two dozen of its 100 lakes. The sites themselves offer the bare bones of camping. Each site is sequestered away from neighbors and offers only a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse.
