Large RV resorts and campgrounds dot the Ontario countryside and there's no shortage of unique experiences to be had when you choose to camp in Ontario.
At CanaDream, we love to encourage our Guests to experience Canada at their own pace with one of our RV rentals. Experiencing Canada is a fairly tall order, since you can find CanaDream RV pick-up and drop-off locations from the Yukon to Nova Scotia, and you may not know where to explore first.

To that end, we’re going to help you narrow down your options for traversing Canada in one of our RVs. Here we discuss the top 11 Ontario Campgrounds that you can enjoy from the comfort of a CanaDream RV. In Ontario alone, you can find some of Canada’s most scenic outdoor locations right alongside attractions such as museums and golf courses. If camping Ontario is on your bucket list, you need to check out this collection of the province’s best campgrounds.

Haliburton Forest Campground
Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve is a privately owned forest in Ontario’s Haliburton County. If you’re looking to narrow down your list of some of the best camping in Ontario, Haliburton should be right up there. The 100,000-acre forest offers numerous semi-wilderness campsites on nearly two dozen of its 100 lakes. The sites themselves offer the bare bones of camping. Each site is sequestered away from neighbors and offers only a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse. But the Haliburton Forest also offers a number of activities for campers to enjoy, including hiking and running trails, bass fishing, guided canopy tours, and the fascinating Logging Museum. With a CanaDream RV at your disposal, you’ll want to stay in Haliburton for an extended period to take full advantage of its amazing outdoor appeal.
