The iconic Gold Panner Campground is located in the Monashee Mountains, 30 mins east of Lumby on Highway 6. Founded on a Chinese heritage mining operation, the Gold Panner grounds are steeped with a rich history dating back to the 1840’s.
Today, the Gold Panner Campground still holds many treasures and not all of them are gold.

The beautiful campground is tucked amongst majestic old growth trees, providing you with the perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature at its fullest. Choose one of the 50 campsites with a variety of services to accommodate everything from tents to RV’s. There are also 3 deluxe chalets and 4 cabins that are open year-round for the pleasure of the Guests.

Whether staying here or taking a break from driving, make sure you take the time to explore the extensive trail system. Take a leisurely hike along the pristine Monashee and Heckman Creeks; walking through forests of cedar, larch, cottonwood, hemlock and pine trees. Try to catch a glimpse of the local wildlife such as whitetail deer and find hidden treasures in the forest while exploring the old Gold mining remains.
