The state of Alaska borders British Columbia and the Yukon in Canada and is the 49th state to join the United States of America. Endless opportunities abound for exploring the great outdoors and experiencing Alaska Native culture. Camping is second nature here with both private and state campgrounds dotted across the state.

RVing doesn’t stop when the snow starts but there are fewer campgrounds to choose from between October and early May. If your winter RV trip includes skiing or snowboarding at a ski resort, some ski hills allow overnight parking on the hill while other resorts have winter campgrounds close by.
Use the Interactive map below to learn more about the campgrounds that remain open for the winter season. The blue icons represent CanaDream Club partners, many of whom offer a 10% discount to CanaDream Guests. We recommend that Guests call ahead to confirm availability.
