Sidney, BC, known as SETINES to the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations People, is the perfect departure point for an unforgettable whale-watching adventure. Located at the gateway to the Salish Sea, it offers easy access to some of the most whale-populated waters in the world. The Salish Sea is home to a rich diversity of marine life, including orcas, humpback whales, gray whales, and minke whales. This area is one of the most reliable spots for whale sightings, as it serves as a major migratory route, especially from March to Oct when whales travel through these waters in search of food.
