Wondering what to do in the Rockies this summer? Join Wild Water Adventures on the Kicking Horse River for the best whitewater rafting in the region.

There are three important details to remember:

1. Choose the trip that is just right

Wild Water Adventures, now in its 29th season, offers a variety of half-day and full-length whitewater trips. There is a rafting trip for every whitewater preference. The Gentle Trip, with its bouncy and splashy Class 2 and Class 3 waves and stunningly scenic float sections, is the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. The Whitewater Exciter cuts right to the big whitewater action with non-stop Class 2 to Class 4/4+ rapids. Both half-day trips include fresh baked goodies, seasonal fruit and a selection of hot and cold beverages served back at the River Base afterwards. Join Wild Water Adventures for a morning departure and upgrade to include a tasty BBQ lunch after rafting. The full-length Tradition trip (which is the Gentle and Whitewater Exciter trips put together) offers all the above and includes a delicious BBQ lunch afterwards.**  Age and/or weight considerations exist for all trips.

2. Listen To Your Guides!

Guests are in highly capable hands when it comes to rafting with Wild Water Adventures. Our guides are certified rafting professionals with wide-ranging experience on local rivers and waterways across the globe. Before any guest boards a raft, a comprehensive safety briefing is conducted at the river’s edge. Guides explain river dynamics and what to do in case of an unexpected swim. Prioritizing safety is the best way to ensure smiling faces at the end of the trip.

3.  Most importantly, have fun!

Holidays in the Rocky Mountains are for fun and adventure. There is no better way to share laughter, and create memories together, than by rafting the Kicking Horse River with Wild Water Adventures. See You On The River!
