Guests can choose between the Red Skyride or the new Blue Grouse Gondola for the journey to the mountaintop, arriving at an elevation of 1,200 meters (4,100 feet), where year-round dining options—ranging from casual to fine—and many complementary activities await.
In the winter, Grouse Mountain offers a skating pond (skate and helmet rentals available), a magical Light Walk, several snowshoe trails (rentals available), and a Sliding Zone for sledding (rentals required)! In late November and throughout December, the mountain transforms into the Peak of Christmas, Vancouver’s own North Pole, with a variety of festive activities, including Santa’s Workshop, crafts with Santa’s elves, and Ranger Talks with Santa’s reindeer.
In the summer months, Grouse Mountain offers its World-Famous Lumberjack Shows, a grizzly bear habitat with daily Ranger Talks, Birds in Motion demonstrations, self-guided Eco Walks, and the Peak Chairlift to the peak of the Mountain (must be at least 1m tall to ride). The summer also offers thrilling add-on experiences including the Mountain Ropes Adventure—a series of aerial ropes courses with varying degrees of difficulty—and the Mountain Zipline tour, which involves five high-speed ziplines through the treetops of Grouse and Dam Mountain. These adventures take thrills to new heights! For even more excitement, you can experience Tandem Paragliding, offering breathtaking aerial views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, families with young adventurers can enjoy the Kids Tree Canopy Adventure, a safe and engaging way to explore the forest from above.

This year marks a significant leap forward with the launch of three major attractions: the new state-of-the-art Blue Grouse Gondola; the adrenaline-pumping new Mountain Bike Park—the North Shore’s only lift-accessed bike park, featuring trails for all experience levels, from beginner blue and green flow trails to advanced intermediate and expert trails; and the thrilling new alpine gravity-fed Mountain Coaster, sending riders on twists and turns through the track at speeds up to 45km/h.
