Following Highway 3 from the west through Osoyoos, BC you will find the Anarchist Mountain Summit. Elevation 1,491 m or 4892 ft - home to Summit RV Resort, only 9km up a very picturesque drive towards Rock Creek.

Enjoy a unique camping experience on the Anarchist Mountain Summit, halfway between Osoyoos and Rock Creek, BC. We are your gateway to the Okanagan Valley, the West Coast, the Kootenays and Rockies and off to Alberta. We’ll even help you plan special stops on your way to or from Calgary or Vancouver.
While You are Here
There is a beautiful mix of rolling pastureland, subalpine plants and trees, sage, and forested areas. We have it all! Hiking on site is great as you work your way to the top ridge. And there are great country roads to bike down. Experience cooler summers then in the valley (yet warm enough to enjoy the star-filled skies in comfort) and milder winters with just enough lovely snow to make the trees and dormant shrubs look amazing.
Speaking of Snow Days
Winter camping is available here, with power and sewer. Hop in the free showers when you get back from Baldy Mountain which is only 25 km away! We hear there is some great powder, even rivaling the larger ski resorts. We are just 1-2 hours away from Apex, Big White, Pheonix, Red Mountain and 2.5 hours to Silver Star. Maybe do a loop?
Something Unique
Not only can you kick back at the community firepit, or hike to the top of the hillside where the forested areas start, but you can see our authentic Mongolian Ger (yurt) – It’s brightly hand carved and painted doors and interior are a rare sight. The Ger houses the office and store and doubles as a little art gallery showing off wares by local artisans and crafters
Entertainment at Your Door
Weekly Markets bring in fresh produce and specialty foods. Artisans show off and sell their crafts and handiworks in the large entertainment area. The open-air stage has been home to local musicians and can be used for games, workshops, yoga, you name it! Special Events include our novice Comedy Nights!
Relax and Rejuvenate
No matter the season, Summit RV Resort is best known for it’s relaxing peace and quiet, abundant natural sights and wildlife, and the nearby laidback little Gold Era towns. The full-service campground hosts everything from Big Rigs to Motorbikes. We’re family friendly, mostly wheelchair accessible. See for yourself on Google, that the hosts are what brings our guests back as well.
DO a little DO a Lot
Take a day trip to Conkle Lake, float down the Kettle River, or Bike the Gold Rush and Rail Trails. There’s even a great golf course in Rock Creek with a Café that serves wonderful meals. Either way, the choice is always yours to do a little or do a lot – See you at the Summit!
