A full day - the OWL Rafting experience lets you choose your intensity of whitewater rafting. Raft the world renowned rapids of the Ottawa River, then climb aboard the OWL Pontoon Boat for a freshly barbequed meal while cruising back to the OWL Resort.
Just ninety minutes upstream of our Nation's Capital, OWL Rafting offers three levels of rafting intensity day trips on the world-renowned Rocher Fendu rapids. OWL's 25 acre Lakeside Resort is the hub of all activities – located at the end of the rapids on Lac Rocher Fondu. The sandy beach is your private playground before or after your rafting trip to enjoy the multitude of beach toys: kayaks, canoes, and Stand-Up-Paddleboards. The OWL resort includes a 9-hole disk golf course, pump-track for biking and beach volleyball courts. The evening is enjoyed fireside with live music on the weekends.
Famous for our food, homemade and delicious, we have FEAST-ON culinary tourism designation. This means locally sourced products, a kitchen garden and three lovely pigs that enjoy the leftovers. Environmental stewardship is part of respecting the RIVER and we take pride in sharing the many eco-tourism processes on site with our clients.
