New Knob Quad Coming Soon!
A decade in the planning, Marmot Basin will have a new Knob Quad Chair for the 23/24 season. The new chair will be a significant upgrade on its predecessor – it’s faster, it carries twice as many guests, and its unload is higher too. Construction has been underway since May 2023, and the project is due to be completed for the winter season.
The new unload elevation of 2518 metres is in the high alpine, far above the tree line, giving easier access to the Marmot Cirque, Marmot Basin’s new expert terrain. From top to bottom in only eight minutes, the Knob Quad is a game changer for the upper mountain at Ski Marmot Basin.
The Marmot Cirque in its Second Year
The Marmot Cirque is Marmot’s newest terrain. Opened during the 22/23 season, this expert terrain is to lookers left of Marmot Peak, spanning all the way to Cornice. Steep chutes and deep snow, the Marmot Cirque is the new challenge you’ve been waiting for.

Buy your lift tickets with CanaDream, pick up your RFID card at the ticket windows or the Marmot Sales Centre in downtown Jasper. With the expanded parking there’s lots of space for your RV, so you can park and go straight to the lifts. When you’re done for the day, create your account and reload your RFID card online for your next visit.
