The summer has been a hot one but, with Fall officially here, it’s time to plan those last minute get-aways before winter is truly upon us.
While summer is a great time to travel, there’s something special about a Fall RV vacation. Starting around mid September, Canada begins the slow transformation into a spectacle of colour and beauty. When and where the best colours will be seen is as difficult to forecast as the Northern Lights are. That’s why it makes sense to rent an RV to experience this annual phenomenon.

"Fall" in love with Canada!

Websites such as Ontario Parks, Quebec Original and Nova Scotia Tourism offer Fall colour progression reports, tracking the changing fall colours across their provinces. If the colour isn’t where you are, it’s easy to jump in your RV and drive to where the peak colours are.

Algonquin Provincial Park.

Aside from the sheer brilliance of the colours, Fall Rving brings sunny days and cool evenings. Hiking and many other activities can be more enjoyable away from the heat of the summer. Insects, particularly the biting ones, are less prevalent, enabling you to enjoy those outdoor and campfire moments without drowning yourself in gallons of repellent.

Experience Canada at your own pace and discover the true beauty of fall.

When you rent an RV in the Fall you can take advantage of reduced pricing, with many RV Rental companies offering great deals for travelling from late September to late October. With fewer people out camping, your RV experience becomes more intimate and secluded. Reservations are generally not necessary at campgrounds, making it easy to be spontaneous with your travelling.

Mont Tremblant National Park.

You might even be able to pick a spot with a great view, right from the front door of your RV! Fall also brings with it harvest festivals, pumpkin farms, ghostly displays, haunted house tours and all the scary fun associated with Halloween – just some of the great reasons to choose Fall for an RV vacation.

October wouldn't be complete without a few pumpkins. Happy Halloween!
